Directions to UCSC
From Highway 17 South:
Take Highway 17 South to Highway 1 North (towards Half Moon Bay). Follow Highway 1 into the City of Santa Cruz. Follow the signs for Highway 1 North and UCSC (you will be on Mission Street). Stay on Mission unti you get to Bay Street; turn right on Bay St. .
From Highway 101 North:
Take Highway 101 North to Salinas, then connect with Highway 183 North toward Castroville and Santa Cruz. Follow Highway 183 through Castroville, then turn right onto Highway 1 North. Take Highway 101 North all the way to Santa Cruz. Follow the signs for Highway 1 North and UCSC (you will be on MIssion Street). stay on Mission until you get to Bay Street; turn right on Bay St.
Where to Park and Permit Information:
You will need to purchase a parking permit before parking on campus. You can purchase a permit at the parking kiosk at the main entrance of campus. The kiosk is open from 7am-1pm.
After purchasing your parking permit at the main kiosk, take a U-turn and exit the main entrance of campus. Turn right onto Empire Grade (first right). Take Heller Drive Take Empire Grade to the UCSC West entrance (right on Heller Dr). Go up Heller Dr. to the 5th stop sign. Turn right into the Core West parking garage.
To Meeting Location:
As you leave the garage from the level 2 East exit, Baskin School of Engineering is to the left and across the street named McLaughlin--large concrete building--banner hanging on side with "Baskin School of Engineering" (BSOE). Directly behind Baskin Engineering is the second engineering building. The courtyard is between the two buildings.
